Internship DATA ANNOTATION INTERN
Hugo is recruiting ML data annotation interns to join our latest Cohort. Our ML interns learn to label different types of data (text, images, audio, and video), in preparation for training machine learning models. From image and video annotations using bounding boxes to content categorization, our interns have a front-row seat to the development of the technology that’s shaping our world today. This training program is also a first step towards becoming globally competitive, accelerating your professional growth, and learning the most in-demand skills for the future-of-work.
- Minimum Qualification: Degree
- Experience Level: Volunteer, internship
- Experience Length: No Experience/Less than 1 year
- Degree from a recognized university.
- STEM background is an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Computer literate, internet savvy, a strong researcher using Google
- Touch typing, critical (at least 45 words-per-minute typing speed)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (specifically, Word+ Excel)
- Strong written and spoken communication skills (full sentence construction, diction + grammar)
Important information you need to know:
This entry-level program is only open to graduates awaiting NYSC, graduates currently enrolled in NYSC, and recent graduates with less than three years of experience.
Hugo has a 4-step recruitment process:
L1 (Assessment 1): Complete Assessment 1 (80 minutes). The success rate for applicants who take our assessment is 10% so bring your A-game.
L2 (Assessment 2): Candidates who successfully complete the L1 Assessment 1 will receive a link to complete Assessment 2 (60 minutes).
L3 (Physical training and practical assessment): Candidates who successfully complete L2 will be invited for a mandatory 4-day physical training, followed by the L3 assessment. Training will start on March 2nd, 2021, and take place from Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday.
L4 (Orientation): Candidates who successfully pass L3 will be invited to join our training program which begins on March 9th, 2021.
