Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Duties:

  • Create attractive investment memos, proposals, presentations, teasers, and other documents needed for investors and lenders
  • Create financial models to raise funds/investment and support valuation, planning, and forecasting; Scout and prospect for investors
  • Compose proposals/presentations, business plans, conduct research, business analysis, and propose initiatives to drive Company’s expansion plans
  • Support the company in all aspects of commercial decision-making, commercial aspects of contracts, financial control, and aid in contractual negotiations and discussions
  • Create financial dashboards, monitor project commercial performance, and submit financial reports
  • Head capital budgeting, expenditure, and planning processes
  • Generate and run preliminary financial models for commercial justification on capital projects
  • Contribute to the company’s goal of ISO certification and ensure compliance with ISO terms
  • Work with multiple departments to ensure that deliverables satisfy business requirements
  • Make business presentations at prospective clients offices
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, SOPs, and dashboards
  • Provide financial and commercial advice to management, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis
  • Gather market intelligence on various industries and communicate pertinent information to relevant groups and individuals to help identify trends impacting Company’s business
  • Identify problems within our business (including through using data analysis) and suggest improvements
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Must have experience writing financial proposals, business plans and/or investment memos
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Analytical Skills with the ability to create attractive presentations or memos
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel and Power point.
