Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, or gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign. May gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.
- Responding to request for quotations from prospective clients with a mindset of converting them to businesses.
- Liaising with necessary bodies in Nigeria; Shipping line & Airlines as well as foreign logistics partners in responding to such enquiries.
- Making researches on prospects to market; manufacturing companies and corporate entities in Nigeria; developing contact details for them.
- Sending marketing mails and request for business relationship to the companies (prospects) developed and following up with calls.
- Going out on business meetings and presentations.
- Managing export desk; obtaining rates from shipping companies, booking of shipments, liaising with the field officers handling the export shipments, provision of updates and processing of shipping cum post shipping documentation for the exports.
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
