we are looking for a passionate manager who will be responsible for the total operations and growth of our established Bar and Restaurant

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Management level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

  • Manage all restaurant operations including scheduling, planning, and forecasting while upholding and championing standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • Optimise profit by ensuring that labour is scheduled efficiently and food, drinks and supplies are ordered to maintain appropriate inventory
  • Exemplify and recognise legendary acts of leadership and quality to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • Exercise good judgment and decision making in escalating concerns and aggressively resolve issues
  • Ensure company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of Bar and restaurant marketing programs
  • Ensure the bar is stocked and inviting to costumers at all times
  • Protect company assets; Prevent diffuse situations that create potential risks to the organization
  • Be a mentor and devote time to training, coaching and developing others by adapting to individual learning styles and motivational needs
  • Regularly measure and evaluate service standards by using various feedback tools to develop and implement plans for continuous service improvement
  • Build monthly and yearly sales by organising promotional activities
  • Ensure adherence to company cash handling and payment processing procedures
  • Handle costumers who drink with care and ensure that appropriate action is taken in a case where issues go out of line
  • Plan and implement cost control measures
  • Set objectives and targets for employees

Requirements:

  • Great interpersonal, communication and costumer service skills
  • Ability to hire, train, manage and schedule staff
  • Solid organisational skills and facility with budgets, bartending and service protocols
  • Ability to work on night shift
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge in Microsoft word/excel/powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
