The Warehouse and Logistics Manager are responsible for supervising, training, and coordinating employees in the warehouse and logistics-related operations, such as receiving and shipment of materials and finished goods. The candidate would be responsible for designing a work plan and assigning work; implementing procedures, enforcing company policies, and recommending department improvements in their area of responsibility. The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of running the inventory and warehouse operations ensuring that the inventory system is fully operational. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Inventory team and ensuring the workflow and supervision of the team are effective and obstacles to the process are cleared. This job involves lifting heavy objects and operating heavy machinery so it’s very hands-on and not for the lazy. Also, ensuring everyone sticks to the correct health and safety rules can be an arduous task too.

Job Description/Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service in the inventory team
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Monitor project procurement requirement and ability to notify on stock reorder level
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
  • Arrange and plan out the warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Supervise, coach, and train the inventory team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Market research and benchmarking on products
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Preparation of stock reports and analysis
  • Continuously look for improvements to operations
  • Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations
  • Processing stock orders
  • Weekly & Monthly on stock usage and reorder level
  • Organizing the dispatch and delivery of goods
  • Ensuring goods are stored safely
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Keeping accurate records of all goods and activities

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • At least 5 years of proven working experience as a logistics or inventory manager
  • Degree qualified in a related field
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good personal presentation
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Good commercial and business understanding
  • Working knowledge of various types of telecommunication equipment.
  • Experienced in working in a multicultural environment
  • Familiar with Workplace Safety and Environmental factors
  • Ability to foster team-oriented goals
